In this class you’ll:
1. use watercolor as a base texture on Yupo paper
2. Negative paint that texture with gesso to create a positive shape with a stencil
3.Use stencils again and water to lift the original watercolors back to white yupo for details.

If you can splash watercolor in blobs onto paper you can paint these pictures!

We’re going to try to do two paintings in one day!

Bring your usual watercolors, brushes, a pair of scissors, paper towels, 2 water containers, a black watercolor crayon, any small stamps you might have with a texture look (we can share these), a small amount of Elmer's glue.
(Note from the Art Cult...we have glue and Lucy is providing the yupo, gesso, stencils, etc that we will need.)
